SPD Seized Guns in Two Separate Incidents, Four Arrested

STOCKTON – The SPD seized guns in two separate incidents recently.

The first occurred on September 19 at 6:30 p.m.  Officers conducted a traffic stop near Fifth and El Dorado Street. With probable cause, they searched the vehicle and found 3 firearms and narcotics for sales.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Christopher Sanchez and 33-year-old David Dimas for weapons and drug charges.

Then, on September 21 at 4:30 p.m. yet another traffic stop has the same type of results. This time it was near Holiday and Banbury Drives.

The resultant search produced a 9mm handgun. Furthermore, at the suspect’s residence, officers located “an AR-15 style rifle.” In addition, the gun had “a suppressor and several high capacity magazines.”

In this incident 35-year-old Michael Chavez and 27-year-old Alexander Bristol also face weapons charges.
