Multiple Commercial Burglary Suspect Gustavo Villalobos Arrested

CHINO HILLS – Chino Hills Station Deputies launched an investigation into the August 15 commercial burglary at Derenzis and Associates at 5857 Pine Avenue.  Suspects forced entry into the building by removing a window with a pry bar before 5:00 a.m.

First, a laptop valued at $1,200 was stolen while surveillance captured the burglars on video. Investigators identified Gustavo Roberto Villalobos (35) of Chino Hills as one of the suspects on surveillance footage. An unknown Hispanic male adult accompanied him. Their getaway car – a black 2016 Honda Accord.

Next, Chino Hills PD Detectives secured an arrest warrant on September 6th for Villalobos and a search warrant for his residence.

Subsequently, investigators served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence on September 12th. After his arrest,  they found approximately $30,000 worth of stolen/recovered property in Villalobos’ possession.

As a result, Investigators found additional stolen stolen property linked to burglaries in Brea, Chino, Upland, and Pomona. Villalobos’ charges are commercial burglary and possession of known stolen property. Both have a $100,000 bail and a No Bail Parole Hold.
