June 15 Shooting Now has an Arrested Suspect

SAN FRANCISCO – A June 15th shooting resulted in a victim receiving treatment at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. The 29-year-old victim survived the 7:30 p.m. incident  that occurred on the 1300 block of Steiner Street.

As a result, an investigation revealed the name of the shooter – 22-year-old Shadahia Mitchell. Officers “obtained a $2,000,000 arrest warrant” for Mitchell.

Finally, on August 1 at 2:25 p.m., officers located the suspect on the 3200 block of 17th Street.

Mitchell’s four charges are attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and a felon in possession of a firearm,.

Even though the SFPD arrested Mitchell, they add, “this remains and active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information may call the SFPD Tip Line at (415) 575-4444.  Or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.”
