Most Wanted Suspect Arrested in Mexico, Deported to USA

TRACY – An “America’s Most Wanted” suspect now finds himself discovered and arrested for a 2010 homicide.

26-year-old James Stancampiano‘s arrest occurred in Mexico on August 10 (Ciudad, Chihuahua, to be exact).

In the first place, the homicide occurred on September 15, 2010 in Tracy.

The TPD press release says that “over the past 8 years, the Tracy Police Department has been working with the United States Marshals Service. Specifically, it was the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (located in El Paso, Texas).”

Authorities deported Stancampiano back to the US and “turned him over to the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force personnel.”

Finally, his charge is homicide and he awaits extradition to Tracy.

“The TPD would like to thank the LSFTF for their endless efforts in locating James Stancampiano and bringing him to justice.”
