The suspect came into the store and walked out with several items without paying for them.

A store clerk and other patrons confronted the thief in the parking lot about his actions.

The suspect “pushed the store clerk to the ground” and then fled.

Descriptions of the suspect went out. His dreadlocks surely were a difficult mark to hide, as well as his bicycle with saddle bags.

An hour long search after the incident failed to locate the suspect.  However, the next night the CHP located someone matching the suspect’s description, riding a bike on Interstate 5.

Arriving deputies arrested 30-year-old Waco, Texas resident Leonard Lewis Jr. Surveillance footage validated his identity as the robber, which is his charge in jail.
