SAN DIEGO – A vehicle roll-over incident ended being more than meets the eye.

It occurred at 630 Gem Lane. Responders soon discovered that “a Hispanic male displayed a handgun” and stole the Toyota 4Runner

The suspect crashed the vehicle and ran away.  The deputies contacted the three victims of the alleged robbery. They also “set up a perimeter of the area.”

It took an hour until investigators concluded that there was  no robbery. The suspects developed the ruse in order “to conceal involvement in the vehicle crash.”

Police arrested the driver, 19-year-old Luis Solis, for filing a false report. His juvenile passenger shares the same charge.

Then a vehicle containing four people (two males and two females) came cruising through the area. While asking the quartet if they had any involvement in this incident, they instead made two discoveries.

First , one woman had heroin in her possession. Second, the other woman had “an active felony warrant for assault on a peace officer.”

Therefore, 55-year-old Teresa Solis  and 20-year-old Margarita Ochoa are now arrested.
