Busy Day for Stockton Law Enforcement, Three Arrests

STOCKTON – SPD reported a busy day on June 14 resulting in three arrests. All three had outstanding warrants out for their arrest.

The first one occurred in the 700 block of S. Cardinal Avenue. Police nabbed 35-year-old Yaret Chapina in a traffic stop for narcotics and weapons violations.

Next, a K-9 assisted in arresting 36-year-old Jimmy Gunter in the 2300 block of E. Robindale Avenue. Gunter’s warrant is for grand theft.

Daniel Tomasi

Finally, another traffic stop netted 35-year-old Daniel Tomasi in the 1700 block of E. Hazelton Avenue. Passenger Tomasi decided to test the deputy’s legs and lost the test. He couldn’t run from his domestic violence warrant.

As the SPD says, “Folks all in a day’s work…a very busy day!”
