TRUCKEE – A man who participated in an April 27 robbery turned himself in on June 12.

18-year-old Raymond Jesus Soltero learned there was an outstanding warrant out on him. The warrant stemmed from a robbery that occurred nearly two months ago.

Back then, a “pre-arranged drug deal of concentrated cannabis.”  Apparently, the seller set up to meet two people to make the transaction. Two of the supposed buyers are juveniles.

However, a third person, Soltero, also showed up. One of the three had a gun. The trio relieved the seller of six ounces of concentrated cannabis and fled.

On May 30 authorities searched two homes, with a search warrant, pursuant to the robbery. The two juveniles were then arrested on May 30.

Finally, Soltero surrendered on June 12 for a robbery charge.
