RIVERSIDE COUNTY – The RPD’s Vice Unit recently stopped a mother and son pimping team. The duo promoted their illicit business “on several advertising websites.”
Detectives used a search warrant on May 25 to enter a house in the 3600 block of Snowdrift Drive. This is located near an unincorporated area known as Home Gardens.

48-year-old Angelene “Barbie” Ashley is the mother and 26-year-old Jordan Ashley is her son. Most noteworthy, they worked together maintaining a “brothel.”
Their charges are pimping, pandering, and “keeping a house of ill fame.”
The RPD says, “Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. If anyone has information regarding this investigation or the two suspects, please contact the Special Investigations Bureau at (951) 353-7204.”
