GRASS VALLEY – The call to the GVPD noted that the individual “wasn’t supposed to be” at the reporting residence. This was due to the fact that the individual had a felony parole warrant out on him.

At 2:00 am on June 1 responding officers learned the identity of this person – 31-year-old Wyatt Allen Yoder.
Three other individuals at the residence said that Yoder fled the scene. While there they arrested 23-year-old Odessa Spears as she also tried to flee. Her charges were for identity theft, possession of counterfeit bills and narcotics violations.
Yoder under arrest
The GVPD and Nevada County Sheriff’s began searching for Yoder. Even more, K9 Kano joined in the search. Various witnesses reported seeing Yoder “as he mover through yards and other neighborhoods.”
Two laters later a witness called, noting that they saw Yoder near Winchester and Mohawk Streets.
The final word in the press release notes that officers arrested Yoder “inside a nearby Mini Mart.”
