Man Brandished a Pistol and Made Threats, Gets Arrested

DIXON – On Tuesday May 8 a man brandished a pistol and made threats to use it on someone. Police responded to the 300 block of Manning Way after someone called in a report about the incident.

As a result, 31-year-old Kenneth Charles James Mullens fled in a pickup truck before they arrived.

The search began, and with five minutes. they located the truck in the 1100 block of Pitt School Road.

With Mullens in a nearby business, police set up around it and soon arrested him.

Mullens had 40 grams of meth and a .25 caliber pistol.  In addition, the suspect had paraphernalia and stolen property.

Mullens charges include felony threat, assault with a firearm and possession of controlled substance for sale. Also, felon in possession of a firearm and a stun gun, and possession of paraphernalia.
