SAN FRANCISCO – During the six weeks from March 12 through April 24 of this year, various tech startup companies experienced burglaries that totaled over $75,000 in electronics.

58-year-old SF resident James Flanagan was identified as the suspect in the burglaries and on the morning of April 25 he was arrested on the 500 block of Ellis Street.

Flanagan already had a warrant out for his arrest. The suspect was charged with 12 counts of burglary and 9 counts of grand theft. Such behavior is not new for Flanagan, who was “an extensive history of burglary arrests and was on felony probation.”

The SFPD adds, “Although an arrest has been made, investigators are asking anyone with information on these cases to contact the San Francisco Police at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
