MARIPOSA – After the death of his 22-month-old son, 21-year-old Jesse Ashton was arrested in his death.
The suspect had made a 911 call on April 15 to report that his son was suffering from a seizure.
After the little boy was taken to a hospital, he died that evening and an investigation began immediately.
Ashton thereupon was arrested for involuntary manslaughter and is being held on a $50,000 bail.
