COVELO -On April 21 a recently separated couple had a domestic violence incident in which the MCSO was called in to intervene.

26-year-old Cesley Williams and her husband had separated and Cecely returned to their previously shared residence on the 100 block of Pomo Way at 1:50 PM to get her belongings.

She banged on the door demanding entrance. The 28-year-old male opened the door and then shut it, at which time Williams resumed her banging and, when the male opened the door a second time, she spit in his face, slugged him in the face and in the back of his head and pushed her way into the residence.

After further confrontation, Williams bit the man in his chest, “causing traumatic injury,” although he refused medical treatment.

Williams, who was currently on probation, was arrested for felony domestic battery and violation of probation.  She is being held on $25,000 bail.
