TWAIN HARTE – A homeowner on Teague Lane reported to the TCSD that someone had burglarized their home.

As the homeowner arrived, they spotted a red Chevy S10 Blazer leaving the property. They recognized the vehicle as belonging to 68-year-old Randy Gulizia.  They also noticed that the garage door had been kicked in and various items had been stolen.

As the word went out, law enforcement located the Blazer on Washington Street in Sonora. A traffic stop revealed that Gulizia was driving on a suspended license, expired registration, no insurance and was currently on parole.  A search of the vehicle produced items stolen from the Teague Lane home.

In addition, a search of Gulizia’s RV brought out three firearms, ammunition and meth pipes.

The suspect was charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm, as well as the charges for driving on a suspended license, expired registration and no proof of insurance.
