Photo: Two stolen guns seized
BALLICO – On Monday night a deputy conducted a traffic stop near N. Ballico Avenue and El Capitan Way. The 2009 Jaguar was carrying 23 year old Justin Prasad and 19 year old Jose Cruz from Delhi.
Conversation with dispatch revealed that Prasad was in possession of a handgun.

The duo gavce the deputy permission to search their vehicle, and three other deputies came to assist.
They discovered “a loaded black firestorm .380 caliber hand gun with an extended magazine under the front passenger seat where Jose Cruz was seated.” This gun had been reported stolen in September of 2017.
Cruz
Next they discovered “a loaded black .38 caliber revolver under the driver’s seat where Prasad was seated.” This gun had also been reported stolen out of Sacramento in September of 2016.
The pair were arrested and charged with “possession of stolen property, Possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and possession of high capacity magazines.”
