RIVERSIDE — Last Tuesday evening, someone from the Galleria at Tyler shopping mall called in to report a theft from the Macy’s store.

Descriptions of the suspects and their getaway vehicle were provided to the police by mall security.

A vehicle matching the description was stopped by police before it got out of the parking lot. The three females inside the car were detained and, upon further investigation, arrested.

19-year-old Riverside resident Charlotte Murrell, 20-year-old Beaumont resident Kiana Jackson and an unnamed 17-year-old had several thousand dollars worth of stolen clothing in their car.  They were all booked for grand theft.
