LAKE ELSINORE – A 19-year-old probationer suspected of exposing himself was arrested in Lake Elsinore after a struggle with police.

Jordan Lopez, 19, was booked at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on March 6 on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer, and probation violations and was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Herald Avenue and Spring Street at 3 p.m. on March 6 to investigate a report of a man exposing himself and committing acts of public indecency.

After identifying Lopez based on the accounts of witnesses, deputies said Lopez became “physically aggressive” when they approached him and that he was arrested following a brief struggle. No injuries were reported.

Lopez was sentenced to three years of probation in February in connection with a robbery in Riverside County.
