WOODLAND // 45-year-old Rodwin Yamsone Vibat has been found guilty on multiple charges of sexual battery stemming from his work as a massage therapist in Davis.

Between April and August of 2016, three separate women had gone to the establishment at which Vibat worked, during which he reportedly inappropriately touched their breasts and genitals. Two additional women were also called forward during the trial and recounted similar incidents.

The jury was also presented with a recorded interview with Vibat in which he admitted to inappropriate contact with one of the victims, claiming he had been “consumed” by a sexual “energy.” Vibat also reportedly admitted that he’d been dismissed by at least three other establishments because of his behavior.

According to the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, the jury deliberated for less than two days before finding Vibat guilty of sexual battery, including felony sexual battery by fraudulent misrepresentation.

He will be sentenced on April 17th and faces a number of consequences, including probation, jail time, and up to four years in state prison.

His shop, “Oh My Aching Back,” is closed for business.
