MENDOCINO COUNTY // The County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 27-year-old Negie Fallis after a lengthy (and still ongoing) investigation into the disappearance of 23-year-old Khadijah Britton.

Fallis, wanted on a felony arrest warrant since February 14th, was arrested by Round Valley Tribal Police after they received a tip that he’d been holed up at a residence on the 23000 block of Road 337D in Covelo.

Tribal Officers then transferred custody of Fallis over to Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies, who promptly took him to jail. He has since been booked and is housed on $200,000 bond.

Despite the arrest, Khatijah Britton’s whereabouts remain unknown. Sheriff’s Deputies are working in close coordination with the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Team to continue the investigation.
