LIVERMORE – A woman was arrested for the fourth time on DUI charges February 8—but this time she’s also facing more serious charges for an accident that killed two persons last year.

California Highway Patrol officers arrested 26-year-old Lauren A. Davis at her Livermore home without incident at 3:25 p.m., after obtaining an arrest warrant from the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

Davis was also arrested in November 2017 at the scene of a horrific rollover crash that killed one person, and fatally injured another person who died a few days later.

Davis sustained only minor injuries. She taken into custody but released from jail shortly afterward, pending further investigation of that deadly accident, which occurred on Stanley Boulevard, near the Livermore city limits.

The CHP recently concluded an investigation of the accident. Its findings allege that Davis was intoxicated while driving, and responsible for the crash in which she veered off the road, causing her vehicle to roll over several times before landing on railroad tracks, which resulted in the deaths of two passengers.

Davis was booked at Santa Rita Jail, where she remains in custody, with bond for her release denied. She’s accused of murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, DUI with alcohol or drugs, and DUI with alcohol or drugs causing bodily injury.

A February 13 arraignment has been scheduled at the East County Hall of Justice for Davis to answer these charges involving the fatal accident in November.

Davis was also previously arrested on DUI charges in 2016 and 2013.
