LOS ANGELES — 58-year-old Amador Valencia Santos will spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of molesting five boys from 2000 to 2007.
His exact sentence is 47 years and four months to life in prison. The guilty verdict on the following charges came down in December – oral copulation on a minor, two counts of sodomy on a child, two counts of lewd acts on a child, two counts of continuous sexual abuse, and one count of attempted sodomy.
The victims ranged in ages from 7 to 17 years old. His method was to work his way into the lives of single mothers and win their trust to become something of a surrogate father to the boys.
His repertoire included buying video games and clothes, going on outings of several days length, and hosting sleepovers at his house. Then he would show pornography to the boys as the next step towards his criminal acts.
Santos will register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
