LASSEN COUNTY // Lassen County Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested 41-year-old Frank Patton after an investigation into multiple alleged sexual assault crimes against underage victims throughout the county.

Patton, formerly a resident of the Herlong area, has an extensive criminal past and is well-known to the Lassen County Sheriff’s Department. After a month-long investigation, detectives tracked him to the Sacramento area, where he has been living as of late. He is also on probation in Sacramento County, according to officials.

In addition to his crimes in Lassen County, Patton is also believed to be connected to multiple sexual assault crimes in other jurisdictions.

He has since been transported to Susanville and booked into the Lassen County Jail on eleven counts of sexual assault crimes against a minor, with his bail set to $750,000.

The case has been submitted to the Lassen County DA’s Office, as well as the Sacramento County Probation Department.
