Porch Pirate/Car Thief Arrested, Additional Victims Sought

Chino Hills – The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department and Chino Hills Police Department have reason to believe that additional citizens may have been victimized by Shaun Manuel Adamson (33) of Chino and are seeking further information.

Sheriff-Coroner John McMahan has announced the immediate release of a photo of the porch pirate and car thief who stole multiple packages from various residences within the city of Chino Hills on December 11th.

Sheriff-Coroner McMahan noted: “After a thorough investigation, detectives identified the suspect. In collaboration with the Chino Police Department, a search warrant was served at Adamson’s residence, where property belonging to multiple victims was found and recovered. He was arrested for grand theft, possession of stolen property, vehicle theft, and outstanding warrants in San Bernardino and Riverside County.”

Adamson was booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Adamson’s booking photo is being released as deputies believe that there may be additional victims in Chino Hills and Chino.
