Traffic collision leaves two children critically injured; suspect turns self in

TURLOCK // 22-year-old Jorge Tello has turned himself in to Turlock Police after spending much of this year at large, on the hook for a near-fatal traffic collision that left two young children (ages 1 and 4) critically injured.

The collision occurred on March 29th at the intersection of North Golden State Boulevard and East Hawkeye Avenue. A warrant for Tello’s arrest was subsequently issued on September 28th.

This past Monday, December 11th, Tello handed himself over. He is now housed at the Stanislaus County Jail on a felony charge of reckless driving causing great bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving causing injury.
