Two Male Suspects Wanted for Murder in Madera County

Suspect #1

MADERA – Two men are wanted for the murder of a male employee of Tackle Box Gas Station and Mini Mart on Road 26 in Madera County. Dispatched received a call about 11 PM on November 13th reporting possible gun shots at the gas station.

Deputies arrived to find a male employee had been fatally shot during a robbery. The victim’s identity has been withheld at this point to allow his family first notification.

Suspect # 2

Surveillance video footage shows two males enter the store around 10:50 PM. One suspect was dressed in a black jacket, gray pants, white socks but no shoes. A blue bandana covered his face and he carried a silver revolver in his gloved hand.

The second suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with the “Reebok” logo across the chest. He had on black pants, black and white shoes, with a white bandana covering his face. He also wore gloves. The thieves stole two large boxes of cigarettes and cash before firing several shots, one of which hit and killed the employee.

Detectives are also looking for a man who pulled up to the store in a white two-door Acura during the robbery. It is believed the witness left the scene after realizing a robbery was in progress.

This witness may have key information regarding the vehicle the suspects were driving.
