Skateboard Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect Arrested

CHINO HILLS – An ‘assault with a deadly weapon’ call to Chino Hills Police Department at 11:21 AM yesterday sent CHPD Deputies to the 13000 block of Emerald Way. Upon arrival, deputies found a victim suffering from facial lacerations and head trauma. The victim had been struck several times on the head with a skateboard and was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries. Eric Frazin (31) of Chino Hills was identified as the suspect in the attack.

Frazin fled the skateboard assault scene in his vehicle and after an area check was conducted, deputies were unable to locate him or his vehicle. Deputies had also responded to the same location earlier in the day when Fazian had reportedly vandalized a neighbor’s vehicle.

Deputies were conducting surveillance on Frazin’s residence at approximately 7:15 PM when information was received that the suspect was in the city of Pomona. Authorities located the suspect and arrested him for assault with a deadly weapon. He has been booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
