SAN FRANCISCO // On October 2nd just before 2:30 AM, officers arrived in the area of 6th and Bryant after reports of a shooting.

26-year-old John Sanyaolu was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 400 block of 6th Street. Despite being transported to hospital and treated, he later passed away. A photo of Mr. Sanyaolu appears above.

Two additional victims — both men, identified only by their ages of 28 and 26, respectively — were also discovered, but were successfully treated and later released.

The investigation has so far pieced together that the victims had gone to The END UP, a local night club, on the 400 block of 6th Street to meet with friends. At some point during the night, shots were fired by an unknown suspect who promptly fled.

SFPD reports that there were numerous people “in and around the nightclub at the time of the shooting.” Any potential witnesses are urged to come forward.
