SALINAS // 38-year-old Victor Moya of Salinas has been sentenced to two years in prison for being found “in possession of a stolen recreational vehicle in Salinas.”

On August 4th of this year, a resident of Salinas reported that his RV had been stolen from behind Walmart. He searched the area for two days and eventually found it parked on Westridge Parkway, with Moya sitting in the driver’s seat.

Police were called and responding officers removed Moya, as well as an unidentified female, from the vehicle.

Moya allegedly told officers that he’d been given permission to live in the RV by a woman whose name or description he could not provide.

On September 12th, Moya was sentenced to two years in prison.
