LOS ANGELES – Deputy District Attorney Yoobin Kang Hernandez of the Los Angeles District Attorney announced last night that Alberto Casillas (38) of East Lost Angeles received a jury verdict of guilty for three felony counts of kidnapping, injuring an ex-girlfriend, and making criminal threats in case GA101048.

When officers arrived at the defendant’s home, they found the victim in the driveway with injuries to her body, according to witness testimony.

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Casillas is scheduled to be sentenced on September 28th in Department 1 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Alhambra Branch.
