EUREKA // On August 10th just after 11 AM, Eureka PD found 36-year-old Jesse Hanson passed out in his parked (and running) car.

Officers arrived on the 2100 block of Madrone after receiving reports of a man passed out in a running vehicle.

As it turned out, Hanson was in possession of “about two ounces of black tar heroin,” an ounce of crystal meth, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,300 in cash. He was promptly arrested and his vehicle impounded.

Hanson has been booked on a myriad of drug-related charges relating to sales and transport, including driving under the influence of drugs.

He is also charged with driving on a suspended license.
