Minor Escapes Kidnapping Duo, Suspects At-Large

WHITTIER – Police need your help in identifying two kidnappers who seized a 12-year-old female in front of her home on the 13400 block of Franklin Street yesterday morning. One suspect grabbed the girl at about 9:30 a.m., as the second suspect waited in a 2000-model green 4-door Chevy Malibu or similar-type Sedan.

The girl was placed in the car and driven a few blocks away. The suspects exited the vehicle in the 13200 block of Dittmar Avenue. The victim quickly escaped and ran to a nearby adult for help.

The victim’s description of her kidnappers:

Suspect #1: Male Hispanic in his 20s, black hair with a beard. He has a shaved line across his left eyebrow and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect #2: Male Hispanic in his 30s, shaved head, wearing a white tank top and tan pants. He has a dragon tattoo on his right bicep.
