ALTURAS — On May 20th, Modoc County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three suspects in connection to a home burglary on County Road 48.

The burglary was initially reported on May 15th after being discovered by the home’s caretaker. The suspects had apparently forced entry and stolen thousands of dollars worth of personal property, including two vintage cars from the victim’s shop, which was on the same property.

On Saturday morning, investigators served two separate search warrants in New Pine Creek, during which time 31-year-old Robert Russell Tinker of Redding was arrested for drug charges and parole violation. 38-year-old Christina Marie Cave of New Pine Creek was also arrested on drug charges and a warrant out of Lake County, Oregon.

Deputies were also led to a location in Lakeview, Oregon, where more stolen property was allegedly located. Oregon authorities, with assistance from the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office, served a warrant the newly-discovered location, where they managed to recover one of the stolen cars and other stolen property.

Three people were arrested in connection to the burglary — Alan Wade Owen (47) of Lakeview, Oregon, for an outstanding warrant and possession of stolen property; Jason Dean Blevins (43) of Lakeview, Oregon, for parole violation and possession of stolen property; and Megan Harmony Wells (38) of Lakeview, Oregon, for parole violation and possession of stolen property.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone who may have pertinent information is encouraged to contact the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 233 – 4116.
