Attempted Murder Charge in Road Rage Attack

BEVERLY HILLS – A road rage incident in a supermarket parking lot on May 12th resulted in charges against two females.

22-year-old Jamika Marie Abair faces a charge of attempted murder, aggravated mayhem, and assault with a deadly weapon.

19-year-old Sarah Gabriella Huerta was charged with accessory after the fact in connection with the crime.

The supermarket is located in the 9400 block of Olympic Boulevard.  An altercation developed between Abair and the victim, who was then pinned against a railing, severing his leg below the knee.

Both suspects pleaded not guilty and will return to court on June 14.  ABC7 reports that they are beign held on a $2 million bail. Abair faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if she is convicted in this incident.
