Man Brandishes Gun after Car Accident

David Terrell Jackson

FRESNO — The FPD was called to an auto accident on Friday morning in front of Sequoia Middle School at 4050 E. Hamilton Avenue.

The individual who called police, and was one of the vehicles involved, said that the other driver did not have proof of insurance.

The same individual made a second call to the FPD to report that the other driver then brandished a firearm.

Evidently the suspect, under agitation, pulled out the gun but was talked into calming down by the other driver and his family. They persuaded him to give them the gun, and they turned it over to responding officers.

26-year-old David Terrell Jackson was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen firearm, brandishing a firearm and criminal threats.
