Two Arrested for Parole Violations in Los Banos

LOS BANOS — On May 4th just before 8: 30 PM, two detectives conducted a traffic stop on a blue Honda Accord in the area of Canal Farm and Miller Lane.

The driver, 36-year-old Raul Herrera, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for parole violation. The passenger, 46-year-old Sinar Herrera, was arrested for concealing a loaded handgun that belonged to Raul.

Detectives also located suspected methamphetamine and a smoking pipe in Raul’s possession.

Raul was booked at the Los Banos Police Department on charges of parole violation, felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of a controlled substance, concealing evidence, and providing a false name to law enforcement. He has been denied bail.

Sinar was also booked on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy to commit a crime, and concealing evidence. His bail has been set to $27,000.
