Babysitter Guilty in Baby’s Death

Brittany Ann Ingrassi

LOS ANGELES — Over one year ago, on March 26, 2016, a 4-month-old baby boy identified as “Aiden L” lost his life while under the care of his babysitter.

31-year-old Brittany Ann Ingrassi was found guilty on Tuesday of second degree murder, assault on a child becoming comatose, and child abuse causing death.

The jury also added the allegation that “Ingrassi personally inflicted great bodily injury on the victim.”

Back on March 22,  the day of the incident, the mother of the victim returned home in the evening and was met by Ingrassi outside of the home, who told her that the baby was not breathing.

The baby had skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury and died four days later.

At the trial it came out that Ingrassi was unhappy being a babysitter and was under the influence of alcohol while watching the little boy.

She faces 25 years to life in prison.
