REDDING — Police are seeking the identity of a shooting suspect after an incident on April 22nd just before 2 AM.
On that day, officers arrived on the 1800 block of Eugenia Avenue after a report of a possible gunshot victim. It was there that they found 34-year-old Andre Avant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Avant was transported to a local medical center where, at press time, his condition is listed as critical.
Police are offering a reward through Secret Witness of Shasta County for information that may lead to the identity and/or arrest of the suspect. Those who feel they may be able to help are encouraged to contact the Redding Police Department at (530) 243 – 2319.
