Search Warrant Leads to Narcotics Arrests

Jonnathan Sabaria-Garcia (L) and Selina Chavez-Robles (R)

HUMBOLDT COUNTY — On April 18th at around 6 PM, Drug Task Force agents, along with officers from Eureka PD and County Sheriff’s Deputies, served a Superior Court search warrant at two homes on the 1800 block of Allard Avenue in Eureka.

At one of the homes, officers found 22-year-old Selina Chavez Robles and 28-year-old Jonnathan Sabaria Garcia, as well as Robles’ two childen, ages 5 and 13. Located also were digital scales, packaging material, an ounce of heroin, and around $22,000 of U.S. currency — the last of which was seized on suspicion of being proceeds from illegal narcotics sales.

Robles and Garcia were both booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for possession of a narcotic for sales and child endangerment. The children have been placed in the car of a family member.

Evidence was also collected from the second home subject to the search warrant, evidence which seems to connect the two residences and the activities within. Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office notes in a press release that no arrests were made at the second residence.
