MADERA — Earlier this week, an officer on patrol noticed a reckless driver near E Street and Olive Avenue.
The car was allegedly speeding through dirt before getting back onto the road and continuing to drive erratically at a high rate of speed.
The officer conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, identified as Lizbeth Cifuentes, whose blood-alcohol content turned out to exceed twice the legal limit.
Cifuentes was subsequently arrested for DUI.
