Shasta County Deputies Find Assault Victim Tied to Tree

SHASTA COUNTY — On March 1st just after 6 PM, Shasta County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at a residence on Alee Lane after receiving a report that an assault victim was found tied to a tree.

At the scene, deputies spoke with 33-year-old Eric Samuel Crosman of Redding, who was subsequently taken to Mercy Medical Center for his injuries.

Further investigation revealed that Crosman had been assaulted by an unknown number of suspects, who are unknown at this time.
