LOS ANGELES — Nearly two years ago, while a woman was at a car wash on Western Avenue, her two daughters waited outside of the car.
The two-year-old younger daughter turned up missing. Hours later the girl was discovered naked, sitting near a garbage dumpster in a restaurant parking lot over ten miles away.
Unfortunately, it was determined that she had been sexually assaulted. 38-year-old Michael David Ikeler was found guilty of a lewd act on a minor, kidnapping, and sexual penetration of a child.
Ikeler was sentenced on Wednesday to 55 years to life in prison.
