Seaside Police Arrested Two After Residential Burglary

SEASIDE — Two juveniles are behind bars after being seen running from a home they’d just burglarized on Friday evening on the 4000 block of Sea Breeze Court.

The two were arrested within 30 minutes of the crime being reported. One of them tried to flee on foot but was quickly arrested. Both suspects were positively identified by witnesses. A field investigation showed that they had apparently broken a window out back to gain entry and make off with several electronics from the home.

The two were booked at the Seaside Police Department and later transported and booked into the Monterey County Jail in Salinas.

Police credit the vigilance of the community and fast department response with the successful arrest of the two burglars. Nonetheless, the case remains under investigation and those with additional information are encouraged to contact the Seaside Police Department.
