LODI — On February 9th, officers arrived on the 100 block of Louie Avenue and met with 46-year-old Noel Thornton, who’d been involved in an argument turned physical.

Police say that during the argument, Thornton swung a knife at the victim and caused her to lose her footing and then ran back into his house.

Thornton was ordered out of the house and arrested without further incident. He has since been booked into jail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
