The Game Became Bad for “The Game”

Jayceon Terrell Taylor

LOS ANGELES — You’re playing basketball and the guy playing defense on you steals the ball and scores a basket.  What do you do then?

If you are Jayceon Terrell Taylor, you intentionally foul the guy and then sucker punch and, for good measure, threaten to kill him. The incident occurred on Sunday March 29, 2015, and was just settled on Monday.

Taylor also likes to be known as the rapper, “The Game.”  He pleaded no contest to assaulting the other player, who happened to be an off-duty police officer.

Taylor also pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of criminal threats and battery.

He was sentenced to three years of probation, 120 hours of community service and 26 anger management counseling sessions.
