24-year-old Edgar Jaciel Martinez and an unnamed male cohort were two of the latest victims of their own fiery efforts. It happened at 2494 N. Duffy Street on Friday, December 2nd.
SBPD representatives arrived at the house at the report of an explosion, as the Fire Department was extinguishing a fire in a structure behind the house.

After a search warrant was executed, law enforcement discovered a THC extraction operation. Both suspects suffered major burns and were taken to the hospital.
Police remind the public that the THC extraction process is extremely dangerous. Martinez and his friend, who face charges of manufacturing controlled substances and arson, could attest to that fact.
