On Sunday, November 13th, at approximately 8:41 PM, CPD officers arrived at the Shell Gas Station at 3808 N. Blackstone Avenue to investigate a stabbing that had just been reported.

They found the male victim on the ground in the parking lot, at which point he was transported to CRMC and, unfortunately, passed away as a result of his injuries.

Officers canvassed the area and learned that the victim was seen walking with another man when, at some point, the two became embroiled in a physical altercation which ended in the stabbing. The suspect then ran north on Blackstone and disappeared down Saginaw. Officers were unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as a white male adult in his 30’s, standing approximately 5′ 10″ and weighing around 150 lbs.

Anyone with information that may lead to an arrest is strongly encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP, or detectives David Fenstermaker and Adrian Alvarez at the Homicide Division of the Fresno Police Department. They may be reached at 621-2441 or 621-2407 respectively.
