Police display confiscated 9mm
FRESNO – Three students were detained on Friday, September 30th, at Edison High School, suspected of smoking marijuana on campus.
When school staff tried to detain them, the trio attempted to leave the school grounds. However, they were apprehended off of school grounds and were brought back to the school.
At this time one of the three revealed that he had a firearm in his backpack. A search confirmed that a loaded 9mm handgun was in the bag.
The 16-year-old suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall, with firearm charges to ensue.
