FRESNO – The Fashion Fair Mall was the scene on Saturday night, September 20th, of an unlawful display of male genitalia to a 23-year-old female victim.
The victim contacted the police after, while walking to her car on the east side of the mall, noticing a car driving closely behind her. As she crossed to go to her car, the suspect blocked her way with his vehicle.
The female then observed the driver, 27-year-old Chad Edwards, with his car windows and pants down, obviously masturbating.
The young lady got into her car and proceeded to call 911 with not only the vehicle’s description but also its license plate identification.
Officers arrived to the parking lot and quickly apprehended Edwards, who was then summarily identified as the perpetrator of these unwanted actions.
Edwards was charged with probation violation to go along with his new, indecent exposure, charge.
