Xanax, cocaine, and MDMA discovered during traffic stop

The Paso Robles Police arrested a male and female for possession of various illegal narcotics on Tuesday.

According to PRPD, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Melody Drive and Dorothy Court for vehicle code violations around 10:25 a.m.

The driver and the passenger were identified as Francisco Daniel Flores, 21, and Rachel Lane Tomassi, 18, respectively. Both are from Paso Robles.

During the contact, officers initiated a narcotics investigation after observing and smelling marijuana inside the vehicle.

Officers discovered more than 30 Xanax pills, more than 11 grams of cocaine, more than 27 grams of MDMA,as well as narcotics paraphernalia, money and items used for selling controlled substances.

Officers noticed all of the controlled substances were packaged for sales.

Flores and Tomassi were transported and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for sales of controlled substances, transportation of controlled substances and criminal conspiracy.

Each of their bails were set at $50,000.
